Where you are at in your life right now is relevant, it’s a part of your story! Today is an important day. It’s another day to notice the little things and appreciate this season in your life! It might not be full of things that make you exceedingly happy or maybe it is! Either way there’s something valuable in your today that’s worth being noticed. It’s another day to spend with your closest friends, enjoy your favorite coffee or wear something that makes you feel confident! Another day to dream, to achieve and to invest in lives around you. I see my wild and crazy kids today, laughing and playing. I see the wet roads hinting at spring, I’m heading to work in a place that makes me feel inspired and happy! I’m thankful for another day to be present in my life and aware of the things that make today so lovely! .

Just sitting around, pondering this little thing called life. What a beautiful thing to share with so many lovely people! My world is my people – the ones so far in distance but so close in heart. The ones right around the corner who are a part of my every day, my celebrations and the moments of building character. The ones I have yet to meet. My husband and kids (oh man, I love those people! ?) motivate me to be the best possible version of myself! For them, for me, for all of my people! I want to offer my heart to the world and watch it grow in countless ways; in love, wholeness, creativity, relationship, trust, confidence, sincerity… if not for my people, all of the people, then for what? We are called to be His hands and feet, it’s all about the people!

Fear is one of those things that presents insane limitations. In my life I’ve gone through seasons of fear that have left me feeling isolated, incapable & even undeserving. Let’s be real, who can actually say they haven’t?! Fear has so many names and every one of them holds the same dose of insecurity and lies. If we stop and live in those seasons of fear & isolation then we embrace that as our identity. We are capable of choosing a life with limits or a life of opportunity, a life that expresses strength and courage to you and to people you don’t even know are watching you. I choose to process the fears, walk through them with an expectation to overcome them and see my life flourish without limits! I am capable. I am deserving. I’m not alone and neither are you! We are capable of amazing things! “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.” Isaiah 43:2.

One of my babes woke up during the night with a fever. So, today I’m looking forward to loads of snuggling and also loads of coffee… Or naps… both sound incredible. This parenting gig is beautifully draining. My littlest still gets up once a night and he’s almost 2 and a half! But I constantly remind myself he won’t be so little forever so if he wakes me, I’m cool with it. It’s just an extra few minutes to be together… but then again, ask me if I still feel that way tomorrow, the answer might very well be different. Here are 2 of my little humans! (And also my incredibly smiley face, wow. I assure you no children were eaten in the process of getting this photo! Only nibbled.) Weston & Delaney. A big part of this adventure is being authentic and consistent to who I am. These kids (and my big one, Ryder, he was as school when this was taken… who told him to go there?!) are my priority, my exhausting and beautiful full time job! I’ve learned more about myself by raising these little’s than I ever imagined was possible! I’ve felt greater appreciation for the simple things that I would have just passed by unnoticed before, I have more vision for who I want to become & the greatest sense of belonging I’ve ever experienced! These kids are forgiving, gracious, generous, very (very) silly and they’re authentic. They aren’t afraid to stand up for what they believe in and they’re sure they can accomplish whatever they put their minds to. Yeah, I wanna be like them. Plus, look at ’em!! Uug. They melt me.
