Keepin’ up with the cozy because… well… winter. Is there another option?! A silk button-up is like butter on the bod, doesn’t that sound like something you want to get in on?! This silk navy blue button-up has swiftly taken a top 5 spot in my wardrobe! I’ve had so much fun styling it! Later this month I’ll post another fun way it can be worn into spring! (Yeah, I’m getting that ball rolling soon! – Lord bring on the warmth!).

Heart moment here my friends… Today I was listening to music and Lauren Daigle made the line up, if you haven’t heard the ‘Deluxe Edition of How Can It Be’, then do your heart a favor and listen to it! That song gets me every single time. Do you know what it does to your spirit to really connect with the God that rights your wrongs, breaks your chains, makes you free, gave his son for you?! I’ve known this God my whole life and I’m still being constantly reminded that I’m enough, that He sees my value in every moment, especially the moments that I don’t. That He’s always ready to offer freedom from feeling inadequate or unworthy and replace it with belonging & bravery. This little journey I’m on holds a TON of unknowns! But I’m certain that He has a plan for my life and I’m excited to walk it out!

With this freezing rain or whatever terrible thing is happening outside right now, I am feeling extra grateful for my cozy home and freshly baked muffins (Krusteez & I are killing it in the kitchen this morning!). Even more so since my biggest kid is home sickie today. Poor bud.
Gray + burgundy is a dream combo! @sanctuaryclothing Makes the best leggings for easily elevating an outfit! They’re thicker than basic leggings and have mock pockets on the back. They’re probably the best brand of leggings I’ve ever owned! Go getcha self some!
And the ruffle sweater, you guys! This trend is probably one of my favorites right now, and you can do ruffles without feeling like you’re going to fly sway too! I mean I love ’em. I would wear them so big I could fly away but my kids would laugh at me… even though I’m suuuurrre they’ll think I’m the coolest mom alive every single day of their lives. These are my favorite jeans! #zara is one of my go to places for quick, relatively inexpensive fashion! (Their kids clothes by the way…*jaw drop*…uh ma gawsh…*eye roll*…the cutest!) Pair Zara denim with #Converse sneaks and then…mic drop. Yeah. Hard to beat.
I hope your weekend is shaping up like mine at the moment, I’m about to cash in for a nap! What I’m feeling is equal to what a child would feel if you told them they’re going to get a new toy every single day for the rest of their life… sobs of excitement and awkward jumping I’m circles.

So, I was doing a series on this black and white shirt – 3 ways to style a cotton long sleeved shirt. (That’s why it’s been on repeat in my feed!) It’s a practical item most people have in their closet, if not – snag one guys! It’s such an easy shirt to wear different ways and stripes are always a good choice! This one’s from Gap.

Also, this beanie is my favorite thing everrrr! It’s the best solution to morning drop off at school when my hair is a hot mess. I put it on, look in the mirror, evil laugh and think, “baaahahah I’ll fool them all!!” Fashion is something I love! But it has to accommodate my lifestyle which means it must be functional! This sweater, you guys. If I could wear it every day without anyone noticing, I would… but I mean it. It’s warm & cozy and makes me feel happy and feminine, it was a solid purchase fo sho! It’s styled here over a simple gray dress but jeans are usually my go to because, well… sweaters with a little extra somethin’ somethin’ don’t need to be distracted from!
What items in your wardrobe make you feel happy?! Cuz we all need them! Happy jeans, happy sweater, happy shoes, and oh, what I would give for some more happy jackets! Happy pieces make for happy women which make for happier hearts, we all need happy hearts! .

Simpler outfits are my jam! They are super easy to wear casual or super easy to nip and tuck (or in this case, knot and throw on some fuuurrrrr) to make a little more sassy! I like sassy, sassy feels good. Some times sassy makes me feel like I can conquer the world, or at least my day – picking up kids and buying groceries is a lot more fun when I wear fur and burgundy lipstick! So, why not?! Step outside of your comfort zone and sass things up my friends! Feel alive!
Start with an accessory that’s a little louder than your used to! Maybe a statement earring, a fur scarf, a top knot… on the top, like all the way up there!
