We had our first Christmas party this week and it was so much fun! (Yes, it was before December 1st & I totally appreciated it!) It launched me into Christmas mode & got me thinking about all of the magical moments that will unfold over the next few weeks – Christmas packages arriving, coffee visits next to a softly lit Christmas tree, baking sugar cookies & balsam scented candles, kids asking (relentlessly) when Santa will make his appearance & hopefully some sparkling snow! Where you are at in your life right now is relevant, it’s a part of your story! Today is an important day. It’s another day to notice the little things and appreciate this season in your life! It might not be full of things that make you exceedingly happy or maybe it is! Either way there’s something valuable in your today that’s worth being noticed. It’s another day to spend with your closest friends, enjoy your favorite coffee or wear something that makes you feel confident! Another day to dream, to achieve and to invest in lives around you. I see my wild and crazy kids today, laughing and playing. I see the wet roads hinting at spring, I’m heading to work in a place that makes me feel inspired and happy! I’m thankful for another day to be present in my life and aware of the things that make today so lovely! .

This sweater, you guys. If I could wear it every day without anyone noticing, I would… but I mean it. It’s warm & cozy and makes me feel happy and feminine, it was a solid purchase fo sho! It’s styled here over a simple gray dress but jeans are usually my go to because, well… sweaters with a little extra somethin’ somethin’ don’t need to be distracted from!
What items in your wardrobe make you feel happy?! Cuz we all need them! Happy jeans, happy sweater, happy shoes, and oh, what I would give for some more happy jackets! Happy pieces make for happy women which make for happier hearts, we all need happy hearts! .
