Dear rainy days, I welcome you! Coffee is keurig-ing & my slippers are warm! I’m feeling grateful for the simpler things this morning. A good school for my kids, a house that I completely adore, 3 little humans that make my heart full, a really handsome husband (yeah, ok… he has more good qualities but his face is one of my favorites, I mean c’mon) and the rain that will help bring spring! One of my babes woke up during the night with a fever. So, today I’m looking forward to loads of snuggling and also loads of coffee… Or naps… both sound incredible. This parenting gig is beautifully draining. My littlest still gets up once a night and he’s almost 2 and a half! But I constantly remind myself he won’t be so little forever so if he wakes me, I’m cool with it. It’s just an extra few minutes to be together… but then again, ask me if I still feel that way tomorrow, the answer might very well be different.
