Dating (then engaged & married, then kid, then kid & then kid… whew) this guy since 2005 & I love him more deeply, more adventurously then I did on day 1! Here’s a little shout out to my man because he has loved me without fail since the moment we made a commitment to each other. He’s said, “I believe in you” with every new idea I’ve pursued, he’s loved me through some of the most emotional seasons of my life & has remained my safe place at every moment. He is a really great husband, you guys. He’s my friend, my greatest inspiration & he will always have all of my heart! .

We had our first Christmas party this week and it was so much fun! (Yes, it was before December 1st & I totally appreciated it!) It launched me into Christmas mode & got me thinking about all of the magical moments that will unfold over the next few weeks – Christmas packages arriving, coffee visits next to a softly lit Christmas tree, baking sugar cookies & balsam scented candles, kids asking (relentlessly) when Santa will make his appearance & hopefully some sparkling snow! This is my BABY (although not such a baby anymore… waaahhh!) and he’s going to be 3 in less than a week!! Time is a crazy thing, it’s so precious and a total disappearing act. I think about the things we’ve done in the last 9 years with our kids and the worth each moment held & I feel filled up & overflowing with gratitude!
We are constantly figuring out where to make adjustments to become more patient, gracious & consistent with our kids but I’ll tell you confidently that we love them well!
This baby of mine is an incredible kid – he’s confident, extremely silly, imaginative, passionate and (obviously) adorable. So excited to celebrate his life next week!

I want to be authentic. (And good at math, but yikes… that is not the case!) I want to be true to who I am & approachable to all people! I hope to always offer my support and encouragement to people who need it and never make them feel invaluable or unimportant. Everyone has value, everyone is worthy of acceptance.

I don’t always do well the inauthenticity of social media. The fact that it’s a constant guessing game about what is real vs make believe is exhausting. I’m guilty of posting pictures I feel the best about but I don’t post them to gloat, or because I think I’m beautiful – in fact, I think my nose looks disproportionate to my other features in photos and showing my teeth is another one of those touchy subjects. I love style, I love clothes, I post my photos because I hope to inspire people! But also because it keeps me moving forward with my business since I am one of those people who fights with self doubt when momentum seems to fizzle.

I am however, confident. Sure that God made me with purpose! He gave me talent that will be used and needed and bring life to lots of people! I love what I do, I’m willing to fight for it and keep going through the hard days and moments of self doubt because someone needs me to show up & be the best possible version of myself! For me, it isn’t about just me. It’s about the people who need me to show up and be a stylist, a friend, an open ear, someone who won’t judge them or shame them. •
I’m in this thing to do what I love, to be successful at it and watch it produce fruit that lasts in people’s lives. Jesus gave me the vision for LivStyled, He keeps me grounded and full of hope for my future, He opens doors that I am in awe of and He is faithful!

Rarely will you need to get dressed entirely with statement pieces – unless you want to in which case, I love your style & fully support you. ✌?

I firmly believe that every single woman, every shape & every size is deserving of feeling beautiful & comfortable in the clothes she wears! It’s not always an easy process, but the end result offers a whole lot less stress & gives you freedom to think about things other than what you don’t have. Plus, you might be surprised what styles you can actually rock that never thought you could!

Styling, building intentional wardrobes, adding statement pieces, styling events & photo shoots or ANYTHING pertaining to styling fashion is what makes me feel alive! I am so grateful that I get to do what I love. —

I’m thankful tomorrow is Monday. I’m ready for a new week, another fresh start & another chance to make an ordinary week a memorable one. Too many weeks go by too quickly where I forget what I even did! I’m all about relaxing but I feel it all the way to my core that this season of my life isn’t simply for relaxing. It’s for investing, being intentional, operating outside of my comfort zone, pouring my heart into my dreams, my kids, my marriage, my church. This season of my life feels heavily strategic to my future, my career, my family, my spirit & my heart. I was challenged recently to focus on my emotional and spiritual needs more than I tend to focus on other people’s. Not in a ‘think about yourself and forget about those a-holes!’ Kind of way… more like, take the hint when your emotional investments aren’t healthy for you. Make some changes so that you’re positioned for success & not to get hit square in the heart by a fiery dart of emotional & spiritual turmoil. Maybe that seems obvious, but for me sometimes it takes more effort to remember to make sure that I’m in a healthy spot emotionally, spiritually & physically before I have anything healthy to offer anyone else & so that I am the best possible version of myself for my family, my business and for MYSELF. I’m feeling some deep things in my spirit this week & I’m excited to move forward with fresh perspective & a renewed mind! #hereiamsendme ? @kelseyhettinga
