Yesterday was a much needed day of adventure and all things lovely! The @clothandcabin Spring lineup is SO good, you guys! I can’t wait for it to go live so you can buy all the pretty things for yourselves! And let’s just throw down a solid shout out to @eandlsalongr because Erin & @samklugartistry are some incredible humans! They were so down to earth, which is way the heck up there on my list of hopes when meeting new people. I felt beautiful, valued and really thankful to have met 2 more female powerhouses in the Grand Rapids community. The photo shoot with Cloth&Cabin was hilarious, inspiring, laid back and overflowing with mimosas – seriously my glass was never left half empty. Can’t wait to see the magic from so many killer creatives working together & so grateful I got to be a part of it!

I spent the morning with some legit ladies around Grand Rapids discovering each others businesses, talents and passions. There’s something completely magical about women sharing their raw visions and ambitions and knowing they’re surrounded by women who are cheering for their success!

When I first approached a few local bloggers about an event concept I had, I didn’t anticipate the beauty that would come from it. Local creatives meeting each other for the first time face-to-face instead of just over Instagram, being able to feature apparel & accessories from around Grand Rapids, and even being the soft opening at an incredible new sandwich shop @grainsandwichshop to help promote their opening. It’s awesome to see how many people are impacted for good when you go after an idea, invest your whole heart & let the Lord lead.
Working with so many local shops & creatives was such an enlivening experience! Plus, connecting with my local community & building a network for each person to connect & grow was the coolest thing to watch! I walked away from the @meetcutecommunity event proud of what had been accomplished & proud of the fact that we created a space for local growth!
This (majorly) awesome faux fur jacket is from local shop @blcklamb & the beauty I styled it on is @rachelgabes – she’s an incredible photographer, guys! But aside from that she’s kind, sincere, relatable and hearing her story was so inspiring! Thanks for coming and letting me style you in this sassy number, Rachel! ❤️

(Read through for an exciting opportunity!!) Here I am doing what I love with the worlds sweetest assistant! She is also one of the best friends I have ever known! Along with the beauty that took this photo, @thecozinessconsultant who also happens to be my sister. I’m feeling extra grateful for the team of people that don’t only love me, they support me through moments of weakness and of celebration! They’ve breathed encouragement and affirmation every step of the way but also offered honest, kind and fresh perspective when I’ve felt stuck. •
I don’t believe a business is (as) successful when you don’t have people behind you that believe in your vision and want to share in it with you!
So I want to welcome you, business owners and creatives, to share in a celebration of support and give honor where it’s due! Would any of you be interested in a small get together where you can bring one of your support people, (maybe the ones who don’t get recognized enough) and treat them to dinner and a mingling evening?! It would be a limited event with enough spots for 10 of you to bring along one additional person where you can treat them to dinner and drinks and honor their support?? Awwwwe snap!! There’s that white tee again! But this time all I did was add a layer & a necklace with a little more bling. Adding a light chambray piece to a white tee shirt gives it a totally different feel, It quickly becomes more playful and casual! And then throwing in the sparkle adds some fun depth, a mix of simple & classy. You could also change out the jeans for some waxed black denim or a simple patterned pencil skirt. There is a way to style these pieces to fit every one of you! Add splashes of YOU & the things that make you feel beautiful! Maybe it’s buttoning the chambray, knotting the tee, adding a sparkly pendant necklace… the options are limitless! Sometimes it just takes a little bit of help to figure out how many of those options will work for you! I want to help!! I thought I would share a little about myself and my babes with you all!
My name is Olivia, I am 30 years old & grew up in a small town in Michigan! I moved to California when I graduation high school in 2005 where I was exposed to the ocean, the magic of avocados & the best burritos on earth! The first week in California I met my husband, Scott. We will be married 10 years this fall! ?
My first job in SD was at Starbucks and I quickly stared a 2 year Bible school program through our local church. After that, I went after my degree in fashion business. Scott & I got married in 2007 and welcomed our honeymoon baby, Ryder, in 2008. I decided to become a birth doula after my own great birthing experience and did that for about 5 years & cried every single time a sweet babe made their entrance into their family’s arms! I also welcomed baby #2 of my own during that time, my only daughter Delaney.
I got pregnant with my son Weston 3 year later and after he was born we made the bittersweet decision to leave our lives in SD & move to Michigan to spend a season closer to our family in a Michigan & get a good taste of all 4 seasons.
We arrived late June, 2015 and by August I was working at anthropologie so I could meet some new friends, it worked! Yay! We bought our first home, a great church @newchapel & started connecting to the community.
A year & a half later I finally decided to pursue a career in fashion by launching my own personal styling & image consulting business, LivStyled. Today, about 5 months later I’ve had consistent clients and tons of learning opportunities! This job & I were meant to be, I just had to wait on the Lord to show me the right time. 9 years after I graduated fashion school I am excitedly starting my career & I never imagined it would be my own business!
I am so happy to be able to share a small piece of my life with you all. Our lives are what we make them, taking chances & trusting the process has been hard but with God’s grace it has proven to be so rewarding & full of surprises! Cheers to the future, to mine and to yours!

So, I’m doing a little series with this baaaassssic white t-shirt. They’re like gold in a wardrobe, after all! A clean, blank canvas to build on. My next handful of posts will include this tshirt & a few different ways you can style it with accessories! .
Let me reiterate for just a moment how much I LOVE to style & inspire people! I love to work with petite women, plus size women, tall women, average women, (all the women!!! And all the men!!) & I’ve had the honor of supporting all of those body types to help them embrace and feel confident with their personal style. That’s what this whole shindig is about, it’s not to build a brand around my face, even though I have no shame putting myself out there. It’s not to show myself off, (which may be hard to believe considering I’m the one in all these pictures, but not for long!) it’s about inspiring you! I hope to show you styles that you can tweak and twist to fit your body type and wardrobe. (And if you can’t do it alone, that’s what I’m here for!) I realize there are endless body types and what I show in my feed doesn’t work for everyone, it isn’t meant to. It IS however, meant to inspire everyone; women of all shapes & sizes and I dream of the day I’m able to feature every body type on my feed! I understand that I’ll be critiqued and my content will be judged, this is social media and that’s the name of the game. But that doesn’t change the heart behind why I do what I do. Right now my business is me and the few people behind the camera working really hard to connect with you and inspire you. From the deepest place in my heart guys, THANK YOU for supporting me! I have been so encouraged and empowered by the community I’ve built here and I am so grateful for every single one of you! SO many great things are ahead! .
