Custom suiting meeting today! So. Much. Fun! I loved learning more about this avenue of fashion & how I can partner with other local small businesses to offer my clients a wider range of services & insight! That’s the thing about this whole gig – the rules are made to be broken, style isn’t just about wearing what’s cool at the moment! It’s about expressing your individuality & wearing clothes that make you FEEL. Also, getting out of my freezing house and catching a little break from my (love em but they makin’ me crazy) kids was so deeply needed today after no power & horrible weather. Still waiting on that power to kick back in, however… until then we crash & get cozy wherever we can!

You should know that when I’m shooting, I always have music playing (usually in back pocket) and there is always impromptu dancing and singing that happens! It’s the only reason I’m not terribly uncomfortable during these photoshoots. Dancing is like therapy for me, I get crazy ya’ll. Like, I don’t hold back for nobody!! This is just a moment of the passion captured by the lovely @happyphotoco who encouraged me to move to the beat of my own drum during our shoot! ?ps. One of my babes woke up during the night with a fever. So, today I’m looking forward to loads of snuggling and also loads of coffee… Or naps… both sound incredible. This parenting gig is beautifully draining. My littlest still gets up once a night and he’s almost 2 and a half! But I constantly remind myself he won’t be so little forever so if he wakes me, I’m cool with it. It’s just an extra few minutes to be together… but then again, ask me if I still feel that way tomorrow, the answer might very well be different. Shall we start dabbling in spring layering?! ? it’s almost time to lose the chunky, oversized sweaters and the wool socks for keeping those piggies warm! (Yeah, almost time… I was completely freezing in this picture. Waaahh!!) Stripes are always a good idea! You can go with horizontal or vertical, mix stripes with floral or layer striped pieces together, there are always fun options when it comes to stripes and they can be worn to compliment all body types!
