You better believe there’s a cupcake shop behind me! That’s right, those eyes are fixed on only one thing… a goat cheese cupcake that was everything I wanted it to be!! Backside details. This top from @madewell is an all time fav! I’ve had it for a while but it will never get old. Shall we start dabbling in spring layering?! ? it’s almost time to lose the chunky, oversized sweaters and the wool socks for keeping those piggies warm! (Yeah, almost time… I was completely freezing in this picture. Waaahh!!) Stripes are always a good idea! You can go with horizontal or vertical, mix stripes with floral or layer striped pieces together, there are always fun options when it comes to stripes and they can be worn to compliment all body types! So, I was doing a series on this black and white shirt – 3 ways to style a cotton long sleeved shirt. (That’s why it’s been on repeat in my feed!) It’s a practical item most people have in their closet, if not – snag one guys! It’s such an easy shirt to wear different ways and stripes are always a good choice! This one’s from Gap.

Also, this beanie is my favorite thing everrrr! It’s the best solution to morning drop off at school when my hair is a hot mess. Simpler outfits are my jam! They are super easy to wear casual or super easy to nip and tuck (or in this case, knot and throw on some fuuurrrrr) to make a little more sassy! I like sassy, sassy feels good. Some times sassy makes me feel like I can conquer the world, or at least my day – picking up kids and buying groceries is a lot more fun when I wear fur and burgundy lipstick! So, why not?! Step outside of your comfort zone and sass things up my friends! Feel alive!
Start with an accessory that’s a little louder than your used to! Maybe a statement earring, a fur scarf, a top knot… on the top, like all the way up there!
